Unitree Go2 Live Experience – Quadruped Robot now at MediaMarkt Saturn

In cooperation with

The future of robotics is no longer a distant vision, it is already live and tangible today. With the Unitree Go2, a highly advanced quadruped robot arrives directly in selected MediaMarkt Saturn stores across Europe. This innovative four-legged robot combines autonomous navigation, artificial intelligence, and state-of-the-art sensor technology, offering visitors a hands-on insight into modern robotics beyond laboratory and simulation environments.

The Unitree Go2 is currently available to experience live at 13 locations across Europe:

Thanks to its high-precision sensor system and the self-developed 4D LiDAR L1, the Unitree Go2 navigates safely and reliably through complex environments. With a hemispherical field of view of 360° × 90°, extremely small blind spots, and a minimum detection distance of just a few centimeters, the robot is able to perceive its surroundings in real time, detect obstacles early, and adapt its movements with great precision.

In combination with AI-driven motion planning based on Embodied AI, this creates an intelligent interaction between perception, decision-making, and locomotion. The Unitree Go2 dynamically adapts its gait, maintains stability under external influences, and moves safely through changing, unstructured, or crowded environments. Steps of up to 14 cm are handled with ease, as are uneven or slippery surfaces.

A key contributor to this performance is the advanced mechanical design of the Go2. Newly developed actuators deliver significantly improved performance, enabling precise, powerful, and fluid movement sequences. Optimized heat dissipation ensures system stability even during extended operation or intensive motion tasks.

Depending on the configuration, the Unitree Go2 offers a battery runtime of 1 to up to 4 hours. An optional high-capacity battery allows for extended operating times during demonstrations, research projects, or autonomous exploration missions. The increased system voltage ensures efficient energy distribution and consistently high motor performance.

The Unitree Go2 is available in several versions: Air, Pro, EDU, EDU PLUS, EDU PLUS 2D, and EDU PLUS 3D. These variants enable precise adaptation to different use cases – from presentation and demonstration purposes to advanced research and development projects. From the EDU version onward, the robot is fully programmable, opening up extensive opportunities for developing custom algorithms, motion strategies, and AI-based applications.

Especially in the fields of research, education, and applied robotics, the Unitree Go2 offers significant added value. Students, developers, and research institutions benefit from an open platform that enables real-world robotics experience beyond simulation environments. The Go2 is therefore equally suitable for entering the world of autonomous systems and for advanced research applications.

In addition to its technical capabilities, the Unitree Go2 also impresses with its modern, sleek, and futuristic design. Dynamic movements, interactive gestures, and expressive poses make it not only functional but also visually striking. This makes the robot ideal for presentations and live demonstrations as well as for practical deployment in real-world scenarios.
